Graphics & Design

Roll Platex 3D collection can offer you a wide selection of patterns. Moreover, if you have a master to copy or a special project to elaborate, our designers will develop it and after your approval, it will be prototyped to provide you with an “anteprima”, making possible any modification before engraving the industrial cylinder.

Chemical etching and CO2 / Yag Laser engraving

These synergies boost quality to maximum levels. Thanks to our latest generation laser equipment and etching know-how, we provide a complete range of engraving technologies. We can process steel, iron and copper rolls with diameters ranging from 80 to 750 mm, widths from 100 to 4.000 mm, and weights up to 4 tons.

Pilot rolls and band tests

Upon request, we can realize a texturing test on a pilot roll. The etched design is then copied with a silicone cast that offers an exact image of the final result. We can also engrave some band tests on your industrial roll that after a production line trial, can be stripped and ground to be textured with the approved version.

Pluses that can make the difference

Our technology eliminates the unaesthetic spiral effects of knurling devices and grants a long lasting life to cylinders, thanks to the material they are made of - steel and iron - that we can engrave as well as copper. Besides, we can save a damaged roll by copying its surface and after grinding, etching it with the same design adapted to the new diameter.

Technical Sheets

Thanks to special reading and gauging devices, we can measure samples values reproducing them on metal with the same roughness/ gloss, and providing the relevant technical form at the end of the surface etching-finishing process.

Turn-key solutions

With the cooperation of external highly specialized companies, we can offer a turn-key product: from construction on the basis of technical designs to grinding / stripping up to chrome-plating, nickel-plating and polishing.
